This necklace is the perfect dainty choker that can be worn alone or layered with other shorter or longer necklaces. The pearls give it a classy look while also being simple enough to be worn as an everyday necklace. I have worn in a handful of times in humid weather and haven't had any issues with tarnishing yet. I can't speak to its long-term durability, but it seems that it will hold up.
